Here at Chiltern logs we sell logs in nets. The benefit of nets are, that the logs continue to dry out once they have been netted up, the nets are also a lot more environmentally friendly  and make transport of pallets more efficient as they tend not to tumble over as easily as bags. We also sell handmade solid timber log stores.

Each net weighs 15kg
For free delivery of nets in the Bucks, Herts and Berkshire area there is a minimum order of £50 worth.  All the wood will be hardwood such as Ash, Beech or Oak and will be kiln dried to under 15% moisture.

Pallet of nets

Each pallet holds 80 nets and is an ideal quantity to last you a winter. These pallets can be delivered nationwide. An added bonus of buying the pallets is that they make great kindling once broken up.

The Owl Log store

Although we pride ourselves on supplying dry firewood if it is not stored correctly it can go damp, this is why a log store is a must for anyone burning wood. The owl log store is the smaller of the two we supply, it is however able to store around 1.5 cubic meters or (45 – 50 nets). The owl is hand crafted out of solid timber creating an incredibly effective log store and a beautiful asset to any garden. It has an open front and slatted bottom, sides and back allowing maximum airflow to all logs preventing any rotting that can occur with poorer built log stores.

The Badger Log store

The badger is the larger of are two log stores being able to hold up to 3 cubic meters (120 – 130 nets). This log store is ideal for people who rely on wood as their main source of heat in the winter. It again is hand crafted from solid timber and creates an incredibly effective log store and a real feature in your garden. It also has an open front and slatted bottom, sides and back allowing maximum airflow to all logs preventing any rotting that can occur with poorer built log stores.
